These bottles are 100% post-consumer recycled plastic and made of #1 PET plastic, which is highly recyclable curbside. Please check your local recycling rules. The caps on our multivitamin bottles are #5 and made of polypropylene. Please check with your local jurisdiction to see if they are recyclable, as material and size restrictions vary by city.

The current packaging is made from mixed materials, including polypropylene for the bottle and 100% PCR polypropylene for the cap.

The protein bag is made of BPA-free plastic, and the scoop is 100% PCR (post-consumer resin). We chose this packaging format for a variety of reasons (first, to ensure the product's quality is preserved), but also because shipping large tubs of plastic (even if recycled) has a high carbon footprint. When conducting a Life Cycle Assessment (a scientific tool that helps us understand what packaging format is sustainable), we found there is 89% less carbon used to produce one pouch vs. a 96 fl oz PET plastic container.† † Based on a Life Cycle Assessment by COMPASS in June 2022
