When our founder, Kat Schneider, started Ritual, she had one goal: to inspire daily habits that help women feel their best, every single day. The first step? Reinvent the multivitamin. Backed by the latest research on common nutrient gaps, Kat partnered with supplement industry veteran Dr. Luke Bucci to form a team of scientists and researchers. Together, they set out to build something new from the ground up: a multivitamin made with traceable ingredients, in absorbable forms, that people could feel good about taking.
That mission led to the creation of Essential for Women, and from there, Ritual grew to support more life stages and other household members. Before formulating any product, our in-house science team reviews thousands of human clinical studies to determine which nutrients matter most and which forms are best absorbed. We carefully source ingredients from around the world, like magnesium from Utah, vitamin E from Argentina, and omega-3 DHA from microalgae cultivated in Canada, and we choose effective and gentle forms for the body.
Clean formulas are core to what we do. That means no artificial colorants, unnecessary additives, or questionable fillers. We hold our suppliers to higher standards—so much so, they often say, “There’s the way we usually do things, and then there’s the way we do things for Ritual.” We also design our products to be simple, accessible, and easily incorporated into your day. From our beadlet-in-oil technology and capsule-in-capsule design, to the mint tab in our multivitamins and lemon tab in our prenatal, we think through the details that make a daily habit feel like a ritual.
At Ritual, we believe that supporting your health should be grounded in science, made with care, and transparent at every step. That’s why we built a method—and a company—committed to doing things differently, from the very first capsule.
